I have a T. blondi also and I too fed it a small mouse. She bit the hind of the mouse and the mouse was able to reach around and bite the spider’s hind leg. I won’t feed her anything that can fight back anymore.
The part of her leg that was bit fell off a while later and sort of clotted itself. A few months later, she molted. A new leg bit grew under the molt but it was white and came out at a weird angle. It fell off a few days later. She walked on the nub until her next molt 7-8 months later. She regrew the leg bit and it was in the same weird angle but it was consistent with her leg colour.
The weird thing is, she walks on the wound. She just has this useless leg bit sticking out while she does it. I’m hoping next molt will be better.
