A Golden eagle trying to fly off with a Roe deer

I learned at the [National Eagle Observatory] (http://www.nationaleaglecenter.org/) in Wabasha, Minnesota that some Golden Eagles will actually try to pierce the skull of whitetail deer (their talons are strong enough). Then they can feast on venison. They are apex predators after all. [Here](http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2804/4361532630_a5d3229b3a_o.jpg) is the picture they had in the newspaper. I can’t seem to remember what area of Wisconsin this picture was taken though…
